TOM PRICE VISITOR CENTRE - Oasis in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

Nestled deep in the Hamersley Ranges at the base of the beautiful Mount Nameless is the picturesque town of Tom Price. The town is situated within the Shire of Ashburton and is some 747 metres above sea level, making it the highest town in WA and a haven for the weary traveller. It is a modern fully serviced town designed to blend with the natural environment and the ideal base for those who wish to explore the natural wonders of the Karijini National Park.

Which ever way you approach Tom Price, you will be rewarded with some of the best scenery in the state. The rich Pilbara colours of fiery reds, golds and the most brilliant blue skies will never cease to amaze. The climate is almost perfect with low humidity and an average maximum winter temperature of 28 degrees and 38 degrees in the summer. The majority of rainfall is received during the summer months and is dependant upon the cyclone activity off the North West coast.

Tom Price offers a range of tourism opportunities with mine site tours, Karijini Day Tours and much more. Drop into the Visitor Centre for information.
